Description
Standing on the pedestrian walkway on the Brooklyn Bridge gazing at downtown Manhattan. It's an amazing view of the skyscrapers in lower Manhattan Not long ago, you could have seen the Twin Towers. Sad. No longer. This is one of the most photographed bridges in the world. The Brooklyn Bridge is a hybrid cable-stayed/suspension bridge in New York City, spanning the East River between the boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn. Opened on May 24, 1883, the Brooklyn Bridge was the first fixed crossing across the East River. The bridge connects Brooklyn with Manhattan.
